Ben snapped a few photos while Evie and I were back snoozing at the bed and breakfast. San Juan Islands Lime Kiln Lighthouse, this is the place to see the Killer Whales, although we did not see live ones we did see the skeleton of one to at the museum at Friday Harbor. Astoria was my favorite place, it had the most stunning scenery. We went to the Fort Stevens and also visited the Astoria column which I almost didn't do, carrying Evie up there scared the crap out of me, but she loved every spinning moment of the 164 spiral stairs. Astoria is also the place they filmed "Goonies" and "The Ring" which I did not know. The picture above shows the Astoria Megler bridge the longest continuous truss bridge in North America.

Hey all! This is our first post. So good for us. We wanted to post some pictures today (which we will do), but we wanted to get some new ones to. So out comes the camera, and before we know it we have tables stacked on top of each other trying to take a "Christmas card photo". Well those haven't worked out yet so you get some older ones. Things are good for us. We are currently working on a deal that will give us cheap rent for taking care of a couple of horses. We will see if that will work out or not. Mariah has finals this week in her classes, that will be a load of stress gone once she gets that done. Evalyn has been sick for the past couple of days. Just a really nasty cold, a genuine snot fountain. She is growing up fast, and will generally repeat anything you ask her. Some of the newest words are bacuum (vacuum), mountain (she actually says that pretty good), and bekfast (breakfast). It is fun to watch her grow. Another one of our favorite things is we let her watch Kung Fu Panda, and the part where panda is getting trained and the teacher says he can eat, when the teacher takes the dumpling from the panda she will laugh. It is great!
Welcome to our family blog. Post pictures, tell your latest jokes (DAD), upload a video from your fancy-pants Mac computer, and tell us all what's goin' on. It's so much easier than gossiping through Mom. S'rsly people.
